You can go horse riding all over Morocco - on the beaches, in the desert, in the mountains, etc. Whether it is galloping across the white sand beaches of the Plage Blanche, cantering through a Wadi of date trees in the Draa Valley, or riding across the Saharan dunes, there is no better way to experience Morocco than on horseback. In Morocco, horse riding is an integral part of life. There are numerous centres spread out all over the country. The main ones are in Casablanca, Tangier, Rabat, Agadir, Meknes, Fez, Oujda and Ouirgane. From Ouarzazate, you can trek into the Draa and Dadès Valleys, explore the Kasbah Trail or take in the magnificent landscapes of the surrounding sub-Saharan region. You can also visit the national stud farm at Meknes, or how about a leisurely ride through beautiful scenery towards a lunchtime picnic, taken under the shade of a traditional Moroccan bivouac?
